Always and only modestly declaring himself as nothing more than a 'minion to music'; Jay Unearthed has been known as many guises over the decades. From Jungle Jim in the very early UNEARTHED free party years, to J.Allen when Lady K (now Makala Cheung) first started her live performances, to Jay Unearthed in the current Hevix chapters. Working with many music artists in many projects including most recently launching Deejay Pigeon into the foot-hold of the DnB scene, to supporting the likes of Changing Ways (BBC 1Xtra featuring artist) and many individuals and groups in between.

CHANGING WAYS & FRIENDS DROPPED into the BBC1XTRA studio

(home of the LIVE LOUNGE) hear more from Seb and the crew here!:

"So yesterday (Saturday 22nd February 2014) DJ Dotty (South West Squad and F8ality Sounds), Jay Unearthed (Hevix Recordings, Team Hevix and Unearthed Promos), DJ Pigeon (Hevix Recordings, Team Hevix and Unearthed Promos), MC Fader and myself took a little road trip the the good old BBC. This trip was as part of BBC Radio 1's and 1Xtra's Access All Areas month and our part of it was the chance to record a one hour podcast of well what ever the hell we want. In this we showcase tracks from up and coming artists across the South West of England and also a little something from some Scottish Hip-Hop heads, and it doesn't stop there. Out of the blue the BBC managed to call in the one and only Friction into the studio to do a little off-the-cuff interview with us and and also have a good laugh at the same time!"

Musical DJ combo WOLF FMP and JAY UNEARTHED have had somewhat of a busy year, after a trial project with MAKALA CHEUNG. Starting off with the introduction of the duos dance music background and experience, Bristol singer and songwriter MAKALA CHEUNG, was avid to get the pair onboard to bring a lively urban music element to her live shows. Fitting in this flourishing project amongst their others has seen a fast pace 2012 evolution of their sounds.

Like JAY UNEARTHED - WOLF FMP has been an underground music grafter for many years. Collaborating with JAY UNEARTHED to create some world-wide popular tracks, some of which are either due or currently released through industry artists and labels. This has resulted in a massive rise of their live performances and a steady stream of music colleagues queuing up to work with the pair.
